Designated Adoption Services

When birth and adoptive parents already have a plan.

Designated adoptions are those that come about when a birth family and an adoptive family decide to enter into an adoption plan together prior to any involvement with an agency.

At Colorado Christian Services we are able to assist all parties involved in a Designated Adoption by completing the adoption process. This includes completing the birth parent counseling if they live in Colorado and the adoptive parent family assessment.

We are available to assist both parties involved, and it is not necessary to meet the minimum Christian Family Adoption Program (CFAP) requirements in order to apply to the Designated Program.

Designated Adoption Qualifications

Adoptive parents must be over the age of 21, but they do not have to have a history of infertility like Domestic Infant Adoption.

Through a family friend, we met our wonderful birth mother and began the search for an adoption agency. God has led us throughout our journey to become parents and we have no doubt that He led us to Colorado Christian Services as well. The entire staff was such a blessing to our family, and we are forever grateful for and appreciative of them.
