At Colorado Christian Services, every woman who comes to us carries a story marked by unique strengths, challenges, and circumstances. Many are walking through fear, grief, trauma, uncertainty, and have limited support. From the very first conversation, we meet her where she is — offering compassion, grace, and continuous care without pressure. Whether through a shared meal, a quiet conversation over coffee, or being present with her in moments of deep emotional weight, we take time to build trust so she feels seen, valued, and supported as she faces one of the most difficult decisions of her life.
From there, we walk with her through every step of her adoption journey. We help her explore her options, choose an adoptive family, discuss post-placement contact, create a personalized birth plan, and prepare for both her first meeting with the family and her hospital experience. During labor, delivery, and her hospital stay, her caseworker remains by her side to advocate for her, support her, and care for her through an overwhelming and deeply emotional time as she welcomes her baby and begins to process her grief. We believe the details matter, which is why we also provide a hospital toiletry bag and keepsake box to preserve meaningful memories of her child’s birth.
Our care continues well beyond placement through ongoing counseling, birth mother support groups, events, and special encouragement during difficult seasons like Birth Mother’s Day and Christmas. We remain present for as long as she needs us. For many, CCS becomes a lasting community of healing, connection, and belonging — a place where grief can be processed, emotions validated, and one’s story is compassionately honored.
We believe every birth mother deserves to experience the love, kindness, and compassion of Christ. Even in seasons marked by heartbreak and loss, our desire is for each woman to know she is seen, genuinely loved, and never forgotten. Through your support, we can continue walking alongside birth mothers in these sacred moments, helping them find hope and peace in their decision without regret.
